Technological Advance

I've always been a late bloomer. I didn't get my driver's license til I was 18. I wasn't ready for college to end no matter how much I prolonged it. I didn't even lose...oh, I'll leave that one out in case my mom's reading this. But, you get the idea. Anyway, we just got cable last Friday. Really, we had cable when we first moved into our house two years ago but cancelled it and got a dish instead. Well, we gave up the dish so we could get broadband. How do they all fit together? They do. Trust me. The real bottom line though is that we also got a TiVo! When I made the announcement in my office my coworkers applauded. (You gotta understand, I work with a bunch of g-g-gee. I shouldn't say it. I love those guys.)

Get your game on...
Heeyyyy!

Welcome to the wonderful world of digital recording and no longer being a slave to TV veiwing times, but instead become a slave of TV. Man, I record several, I mean several shows and I religiously watch them all. Thank goodness for season finale's and the like. I always feel guilty watching too much TV. But, hey, like Don said in one of his post, "It's research."

I can't wait for a TiVO line-up post *hint*...

You sound a little like my youngest son who is seriously prolonging the mature stage of life. Even though he takes responsibility for his actions, he's just not ready to venture out into the world of "age advancement." Therefore he continues enjoying his kind of fun which includes "Play Station, Play Station, and Play Station." He will get there someday -- he's a good and fun person to be around.
