I've been feeling quite antisocial lately. I know that's no excuse for not talking to my peeps, but I really haven't had anything of interest to say. I could tell you that I thought Jade tore it up on ANTM last week. She really redeemed herself. I was shocked though when they let Kari go instead of Gina, esp since they said all that crap about Kari being moldable. I could talk about American Idol but that's not exciting enough yet. When they get down to the top six, then I'll be at the edge of my seat. Hmm, nobody wants to read about work, do they? I've been stuck in documentation-hell for the past month and I'm trying to get out. But everytime I think I'm done "they" decide there are more enhancements/clarifications/corrections to be made. *sigh* As you can guess I did not make it to NY. That turned out to be for the best because I had to fork over $240 so far to get my AC fixed. Plus, I finally did something I've been contemplating for a while - I got rid of my unsightly upper lip hair! Yes, and I did it myself without wax. Ms J from ANTM put me over the edge when 'she' made fun of Danielle's mustache. My grandmother used to use Nair for as long as I can remember. She always told me that if my hair started to grow never to get rid of it because it would just grow in thicker. Oh well, 20+ years later and I'm putting her advice to the test. Sorry, BdaB for having to wait for you to leave to get the courage to try this. Thank you for being my friend anyway. :) My next endeavor is to get perfect eyebrows like my husband who was unfairly born with them.

Since you were brave enough to talk about it ... so will I: upper lip hair! Egads!!!! I didn't know what to do. I was afraid to get rid of it because I didn't want to look like Tom Selleck in a few weeks but the little that was there was getting more noticeable. I recently took the step. I've been doing the eyebrows for years.

unslightly hairy upper lips....oh wow! just tell me you don't have chest hairs. I have one cousin that has chest hairs on on occasion she wears low cut tops to showcase the hairs.

upper lip hair? i don't recall that at all. and what's wrong with your brows? they are nice and thick and dark, unlike the scant few i have that attempt to masquerade as eyebrows.

I was shocked that they let Gina stay too.

Sorry about the documentation stuff. Don't you love working on our product?

Your Grandmother was right, but most people can't go long without getting rid of it. It's not that bad. I'll go with you on the eyebrows. Actually JC, IL and I will probably have to hold you down. ;o)

Yep I was surprised at Gina staying as well.

It's true your hair does grow back thicker, but I have a weird hair phobia! I know it's natural..I really do, but I can't stand body hair on women and like very little of it on men. So much so, that I've recently started the laser hair removal. Yikes! It's pricey up front, but you never have to worry about it again.

There must be something wrong with me to be so anti-hair. lol.

Your documentation problems sounds like the folk on my job. They have so much paperwork, it's hard to have time to actually take care of the clients and their families.

You are too cute. Join the upper lip hair club. You may look forward to the hairs that will sprout under the chin as you get older. Oh, did I say that? It's sad but true. Have a great day.

It's tru that if you cut it, it only gets thicker, if it looks really bad then I guess waxing might be an option, ouch!
